New Joe Chandler Razor
Hi Guys,
Got my new razor in from Joe and can only say that this thing is a great work of art. I love the pattern of the Damascus. I love the handle shape and the way it came out. I love the file work. I love the spacer. I love the way it shaves. I just love this razor.
Thanks Joe!!
Lynn

Love the pattern, it might be the colours or the lighting, but it looks like it's really deep too. And the spine pattern continuing into the spacer is a very nice detail as well.
Great work, Joe. Congrats on getting it, Lynn.

That really is a beautiful razor -----the thing about Joe Chandler's razors is that just by looking at them , you really want to use them. People here post all types of beautiful razors, but few bring out a desire to just grab the thing and use it ---- very functional looking but very beautiful ------- a hard thing to do I think.

I'm really flattered, and thank you for all the kind words. The next one'll be a dud.

Lynn you don't want that razor...
It's all wrong...
The workmanship just isn't up to Joe's Par,
You should send it to me so I can properly dispose of it, and have Joe try again...

I probably spent 15 minutes admiring that one at the get-together, and studying Joe's work. His craftsmanship is top-notch.
Keep 'em coming, Joe. You're an inspiration.

Having seen that razor in person I can say the pictures do not do it justice .
That razor is a piece of art and like Don said the feel and weight of it are incredible .
After seeing plenty of Joe's work in person I know it will not be to long before I ask for one myself .

A dud compared to that one is still an objet d'art!
Great work.
