Default Torrey "Our Beauty"

Sorry, no pics yet...

I got this from Ebay a few weeks ago and have been slowly working on getting it honed. It has a bit of a smile, so I had to hone with care, but got it squared away.

The Look: It could use some Maas, but is in otherwise pristine condition.

The Shave: Very nice, smooth shave with the minor exception that the light blade came to a complete stop a couple of times when faced with the tree trunks growing out of my chin.

Afterwards: No irritation. So even though the shave wasn't quite as smooth as, say, my Marshes and Shepperd, I'll call it a good shave. About 24 hours afterward I'm getting a bit of stubble, which is about 8 hours or so sooner than with the Marshes & Shepperd.

On the whole: I'd give 4 out of 5 stars.

I agree. My second razor was a workhorse Torrey from Izlat (AKA Ivo), and it was awesome. Nice smile, great feedback, and it held a great edge through the shave. Truely an underrated American razor (but don't tell anyone...).
