does anyone know on what end of the scale the TI 5/8 Taos is? i got this razor from the AOS, which i now wish i hadn't (this is before i stumbled upon SRP), but i can't find it anywhere else. i'm just wanting to know if its bottom of the line, middle road, or what? its off getting shave ready by one the honemiesters right now, so when i get it back we'll see how she shaves. thanks.

To me, based on pictures on AOS's web site, the TIs AOS sells looks like the Evide Sonnant Extra, but I haven't seen one from AOS in person to confirm that.

Based on the picture in the link, what do you think? At any rate, all TIs are generally considered to be very fine shavers and AOS has a very fair price on the plain, black-plastic-scaled model for $105.
