Image on the googlemap?
Does anyone know how I can upload my image onto the googlemap? I got my name and location in and will work on linking to my website.
Thanks!
Howard

Actually, you link to it, not upload... so it must be on a server somewhere. It should ideally be something about 185x185 pixels in size.
To link the image... - go to the googlemap and select your marker,
- click the [your entry] field above the map
- fill in the url of the picture you want to link as your image in the "URL of the image for the marker" field near the bottom of the page.
- click "update information"
That should do it.
Pm me if you have any difficulty.

My marker does not seem to be showing up. I am on the list as being on the map but I can't see the marker. This is confusing me

Move the map (click and drag with the hand cursor) so where you're marker should be is roughly in the center. Then zoom in by clicking the + on the scale in the upper-left corner of the map until you see your marker. If you zoom in far enough, you can actually place your marker on your house in some cases, depending on whether google has high resolution photos of your area.

I updated my location on the map. Moved from Colorado to Oregon this summer.
