Thanks and profile
Hello out there...
I am trying to adjust to the changes made lately and have a question or two if I may.
1) Other than the obvious how do we use the "thanks" option. For example I can see how many times I have thanked or been thanked. How can I tell what I have been thanked for? The only use I can find for this feature is to know what posts of mine have had a positive effect and I am not about to search through all of my posts to figure out which one(s) they are. There must be a way to do this and it escapes me a present. I truely hope there is or the addon is rather useless.
2) The new user profile that we see when clicking on a member name.
ie. Zoints and Meebo
Do your forum members know what these things are? Do you? I was intrigued by the fact that the Zoints profile didn't have any information from my User profile other than my name. So I ended up googling Zoints....it's interesting. But I would prefer that I didn't have a forum spreading my information over a network. I post what little I do about myself for the members here, and I would guess anyone who comes looking hard enough for it. I don't however want it cast across the internet on some silly networking scheme. If I want myspace I'll go there.....oh yes can you get rid of it? Because even thought I know I can change the privacy settings that is not the point.
EDIT: I would like to point out that if my post seems hostile it is not intended as such. I have not edited what I wrote just added this. I happen to be getting tired of all the sharing of "public information" these days and that may have come out in the post. I run a forum and I know what it takes you guys are doing great.....ok, other than this one

if you pull down the search menu you will see a option that says find all thanked posts. That should do it foe you as for the other Joe will probably come through and answer it he's more up on the tech stuff

Ok...Maybe I'm doing something wrong but doing as you suggest gives me every single thanked post for everyone here at SRP. what it didn't do was isolate the posts where I was thanked. |

lol, I'm stuck maybe I should check over at Invision and see if they are using these mods....now if I can figure out which one of my admins has the pass....

Hey guys.. I'll get back to you on the Thanks as soon as I can get in here to write a longer post..
As for Zoints, I'm going to drop it today. There are some issues that I haven't been able to work out.. So I'm going to remove it.
The good note is that the new version of VB (Which will be out in a few weeks) has all of the nice features of Zoints, without the bad stuff (Other networks, bugs, etc.)..
