Default Dually Listed Items: SRP Classifieds and eBay

What are the rules regarding listing an item for sale in the Classifieds section and on eBay at the same time? I ask this since people can post about their items on eBay in the Auction Talk forum. Thanks for the clarity.

There is no rule stating that you can't do that - list here on the Classifieds and also on eBay. Of course, if you have the Buy It Now setup at eBay or the same here on the Classifieds, you run into the potential of upsetting someone if they try to purchase an item that has already sold.

I believe Ebay has a rule that if an item is listed on Ebay it cannot be listed on another site.

The only thing that I am sure of is that if the item sells on ebay, you are entered into a binding contract to sell to the winning bidder regardless of any other "sale" of the item you may arrange.

I have a razor listed for sale on eBay with a BIN option. I was thinking of putting it for sale here at a lower price, but without the BIN option. That way I could avoid having two buyers at once.

I don't think that should be a problem, but I'm not really all that well versed in Ebay policy. Personally, I say go for it. It doesn't break any common-sense rules, and what're they gonna do?
