Hot Shower
5/8 Joseph Allen spike
Tony Miller strop
Vulfix 374 silvertip
William's Mug soap
Pinaud Classic Clubman
Too me William's is a wonderful soap.
Though I don't use it all that often
I'm delighted with the results every
time that I do.
Same goes for the Pinaud.
Both are inexpensive and readily available.

Mon:
Rooney small style 1 brush
Trumper's Almond soap
5/8 Koeller
Royall Lyme A/S
The Trumper's soap is odd. It smells like a combination of Amaretto & baby powder. It took a bit more work to lather though it worked really well, but the smell is a bit much to take that early in the morning. I may give it to the wife for her legs and pick up a cake of sandalwood instead. She's got quite a collection of english creams that I've donated to the cause, so maybe it's about time she learned how to lather a soap...
Edit: Oh, and VG shave.

Wow Don -
you love the Wonderedge more than all the nice customs you have? I am very surprised and wonder why? Let me say that I wasn't taken with my Wonderedge (it was very nice, indeed - just not as nice as my top few; I still have to try a custom edge - soon, very soon)
my shave:
1 week's growth
Tabac ss
Plisson HMW 12 horn
Vintage Clydesdale strop
Moss scuttle
Thistle 6/8 or so "Damascus Blade" Hollow Spike - hideous faux bamboo scales (but I like them)
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Great shave! Thistle not a real Damascus blade, but a nice camel etch adds a light exotic touch. Very nice edge, 10 / 10 performer. Outsniped Bill Ellis on this one so I'm not that surprised, and I love the looks and feel.
Cheers
Ivo

i just shaved with a W&B I got off eBay after spending all night honing it up.
I hadn't shaved in a week just in anticipation of getting this thing sharp, and boy was it worth it! BBS and no nicks or cuts!

WAAAAAAAAH RW
2 days' growth
Plisson HMW 12 Horn
Trumper's Rose sc
Dr. Moss Scuttle
Vintage Clydesdale strop
RW 2.5" blade 13/16 custom ivory scales
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Oh boy! I am still smiling remembering the first time I felt the blade on my face wiping the stubble. Maybe a new category: 10++ / 10! (I have 3 others 10+ / 10 and many 10 / 10 performers, but this was above and beyond)
Razor looks plain dropp dead gorgeous. When it came, I felt I need to improve the edge. 10 Y/G Escher x3 with gradually thinned slurry didn't get me where I wanted, so I went to a kosher Coticule for 20 laps, then 10+10 Y/G again, 30 leather, 15 chromium, 30 leather, 20 linen, 30 leather and I felt it's worth a try.
Wowza! Double Wowza! Extremely stiff and smooth. Simply unputdownable
Now - there are some minor issues: it's a bit thick (spine + scales) - I love this but flipping when stropping is not comfortable and I need to do it ridiculously slow. Jimps on top of tang also scratched my nice strops I will probably take some fine sandpaper to smooth them up. New shape + length blade - I need to get used to them. While the blade allowed me better access and angles on the neck, the weight caused a bit more pressure on the side of my Adam's apple and I got a bit pink (not red) there.
This is my first custom, my most expensive razor, and I am so thrilled it didn't turn out to be a simply 10 / 10 performer
Cheers
Ivo

1 day growth, ahem, purely because my Taylors shaving cream order turned up
Hot rinse no other prep
EJ Best badger brush
Taylors, Mr Taylor shaving cream (tried Shaving Shop and St. James collection creams too)
5/8 Kessar Spike Purpleheart 2 passes with and against
Hot and cold rinse
Witchhazel with aloe
Trumpers coral skin food
Paco Rabanne a/s
Really great shave, surprisingly no irritation despite having a straight shave yesterday .. that comes as a first for me.
Love the Taylors creams, scents are all good, but I *really* like Mr Taylors. Very old fashioned smell, but clean and gentlemanly would sum it up I think.
Kind of like a British version of Tabac imo without the floral edge. The jury is still out on this one
