CADE cream is hit or miss - may or may not lather. I happened to get the POS product - but luckily was aware of the danger (thanks to B&B) and just got a sample. Definitely ask for a sample before you buy!

Trumper's violet soap is not my favorite, but was still miles above this CADE cream. (The CADE soap is better than the T's Violet, fwiw)

Been playing with the boars, just to re-evaluate the Plisson HMW. Gotta give it to the Omega - if used well it will serve one very well, indeed, unless a crappy cream is used. And it looks way better than the Burma boar dog (which performs the same or even better, imo)

A great shave and it seems my skin is becoming more tolerant of daily straight shaving which is a big step forward.



The razor took a great edge quickly after being quite dull. It isn't dragging on my forarm hairs that much, but it does ping a few here and there which seems to be a promising start.

I adore your Adoration, Don. I got one myself on e-bay and one day will get around to honing it up.

My shave: Nothing special, so to speak, just TOBS rose cream with my Vulfix 377 super, then off it comes with my Feather AC. But man, the bathroom smelled like roses all morning!!

Oh, and the aftershave was Aqua Velva ... I've just started getting into that stuff, and each time I use it I like it better than the time before. Gonna buy a BIG bottle next time!!
