My newly sharpened Michigan farmer 5/8
TAGMSC shave soap
alum block
TAGMSC aftershave
a pretty crappy shave, took three passes and I still wasn't satisfied. Of course I probably needed a longer prep time. I only had time for two hot towels. Usually I shave after the shower and that is so much better.

I always love my Sunday night shaves the best, because on Friday and Saturday, I usually don't shave at all.
Re-scaled 5/8 Wapi
Vulfix best badger
Colleen's Autumn Spice soap
TM honey brown 2 1/2 #1 strop
Colleen's newest aftershave samples
Par for the course like every Sunday. Two to three passes over all surfaces, excellent experience.

Don,
That razor is butt ugly. Send it to me for proper disposal. No one like you should have to endure shaving with such an item!

7+ days of beard
Trumper's violet soap for prep lather
Dr. Harris vintage Best Badger brush
Honeybee Chamomile Shea soap
6/8 JR heavy wedge
13/16 JE vintage frameback
13/16 TI 55 vintage frameback
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Starting to finish T's violet soap - can't wait to use it up and get the Rose.
The JR was shaving 9/10 at most and this is unaccaptable. The JE was even worse, a huge disappointment, as it was stellar on TPT and HHT. Weird...
The TI, however, was a very nice 9+ or higher. Quite happy, as it's not dialed in yet - so I fully expect to improve it
Cheers
Ivo

i was a little hasty today---> two little red lines on my right form moving the blade as i set it down for a stroke, should have stopped at 2 passes. i had to sit in meetings all day and lots of people commented on the scrapes, especially those folks who know i use a straight, just a bad day for a mistake.
