My Shaving Stuff

“There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.

When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do."

Single pass wtg, fastest straight shave I've performed.
Workman half hollow (thx Firestart)
Eveready old badger brush
AoS Lavender
Pinaud Clubman AS.

Actually pretty darns smooth for a fast single wtg pass and an entire shave that was quicker than a 3:something minute song.

Thursday Morning

TM #1 Horseside
5/8 W&B
*4/8 DD Wedge (for evaluation)
German Boar Brush
Nieva Shave Gel as Prep
Floris S/S
Hot Towel twice
Two Passes
Clubman

Super Shave!

* The Duck had been exposed to Celluloid Rot. I cleaned it and rehoned it completely. I wanted to see if the blade had been ruined. I guess I got it in time; it performed beautifully!

Ack... Don't let me see the Takeda/Livi's...

Bismarck strop, 30 passes
TGQ Desert Ironwood
Altesse silver tip
Goldbug

I took this to the pasted strop today, strarted to be "Not as sharp" as it used to. 10 passes on 1.0 and 10 on 0.5 did the trick

Oh ya almost forgot... I started trying the scything stroke this shave. What a difference on how the shave feels. I only tried in a few safe areas, so I didn't slice anything off. Big difference
