Result: 4.6/5.0 BBS with almost no irritation. The Merkur Progress razor at 3 with the Sharp blade made one sweet cutting sound. It was singing to me. The talc gives a nice finishing touch as usual. The shave I did on Sunday was done in the bathtub while I was soaking in a a menthol mineral solution. Ahhh...heaven. I did the shave totally by feel with no mirror. Definitely a different experience. Not one nick though.

Heh, Jay - I thought it was a bit rounded? Anyway, glad to see this one saved
<24hrs of stubble
Little Cutie
Honeybee Chamomile Shea soap
Clydesdale shell strop
Cuppla razors I had to test
Lanvin Aprege ASB
Grey Goose + diluted grape juice (taken internally - a drink a/r the shave)
While edges weren't all that - the shave was nice overall.
Little Cutie, back from a long absence, is in the top spot of my small brush rotation. I don't even try to reach for another brush. Really nice backbone, and quite soft tips, perfect density (I find my Plisson may be too dense, which makes it harder to soak - air pockets, you have to twist and turn to take care of them - and forget about a quick soak if you are impatient). Also - drop dead gorgeous, in my eyes
Cheers
Ivo

Freshly honed and paddle stropped
Bismarck 1068 strop 30 passes
Altesse silvertip
TGQ Autum Spice soap
"Barber's Delight" (robeson clone) 6/8
No AS
Well the second hone job took the first was a bit less than ready... oops. But given that it took a while for me to get an edge on the other Robeson I have, it was expected. Great shave and a good workhorse of a razor.
