not so great shave of the day
7/8 W&B wedge
TM latigo linen
Simpson PJ2 super
Tryphon permafrost
Proraso ASB
HWR- my sink pours water all over the floor and into the cabinet. Try the second sink and find the same thing
conditioner
strop20 linen 30 leather. I would strop more but the pins are so loose I kept having to stop my strokes to make sure I would not roll the edge. It was 30 half assed strokes at best
Gather up all of my gear to the downstaris bathroom sink where there is only a sink a toilet and a towel rack. Go to make my hot towel and guess what that sink is leaking. So I fill it with water and plug the drain.
Hot towel
lather
wait for lather to soak in while I have a smoke
hot towel from the microwave over lather
relather and shave 2 passes. This razor is not shaving what it should be and I have a good deal of irritation after the shave.
I think I went at this for an hour today. There you have it. A bad shave in the SOTD forum. Maybe I ought to only post here when I have a really good shave but I thought I should share.

Tuesday Morning....
5/8 Waterville
C&E Best Badger
TM #1 Horsehide - 40 Laps
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Lather
Hot, wet towel over the lather
three passes, two WTG, one WTG, XTG, ATG
Thayer's lavender Witch Hazel
Another Super Shave!
* Just recieved the C&E Best Badger in the mail yesterday. Great reviews at B&B! I was very dissappointed in this brush! Yea, it was only $35.00, but in lieu of the reviews @ B&B, I decided to buy it. Very floppy & not dense at all. Dissapointment!!
** My fourth shave with the Mitchell's Wool Fat. This soap has given me my best shaves since I started Str8 shaving a year age. Yes, lathering is tricky, but it can be solved. Very slippery! - The big thing about this soap is the quality of the shave it produces and how your skin feels afterwards. Yes, you need a good edge and good shaving techniques - but all in all, I feel this will be, and is, my #1 go to soap!
