Ok, Here is a first SOTD post for me.
I'm still a rookie, and my skills leave me far from BBS, but it's getting a little better everytime I give it a go...
So here it goes.
Dovo Bismark 6/8

I tried the Floris "JF" cream today.

Alucard - Very nice picture! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the looks of that razor. It's been tempting me for quite some time now. . . restraint. . . restraint. . . deep breathe. Anyways, how does it shave?
My SOTD for Tuesday:
Thiers-Issard 5/8 | EJ superbadger | Tabac SS | Nivea moisturizer | GFT Spanish Leather cologne
I'm about 2 months into shaving with a straight razor. Little by little I'm getting more of a handle on things. Better at stropping. Better at technique.

Can't really answer that yet. Haven't tried any other blade so far. I have a Dovo 5/8 french point, but I tought I would hold on that until I get a few shaves done with the round point first!
I'll let you know after my 10th shave...

My chosen weapons:
Brush: B. Altman & Co (?) Best Badger
Soap: Cavendish Black
Strop: black bear brand
Razor: Geo. Wostenholm & Son, IXL 6/8
Pre-shave
Long hot bath.....I know showers are better, but my back won't hold out for a shower and a shave.
Shampoo'd face with Olive Oil shampoo
Shave, WTG, ATG, XTG
After Shave: none.....addicted to the lingering fragrence of Cavendish Black
Final Analysis: No, nicks, no cuts, no unfortunate accidents with the razor and BBS

Fantastic quality of photo. I second the comments on the razor, I've always been drawn to the looks and name of it, interested to hear a review of it once you have gained in experience.
