After 6 months of wielding the blade, I must post my first SOTD. Best shave to date and it wasn't with my own razor. Details:

• Pre-shave
  • Hot towel and then lather (twice)
• brush
  • 21mm Silvertip badger with custom cherry handle (my standard go to brush)
• soap
  • 2 pucks of Williams melted into a mug
  • added 4 teaspoons of pure glycerin
  • added 4 tablespoons of Masters Bay Rum
  • mixed up this concoction yesterday
• razor
  • Dubl Duck freshly honed by JoshEarl
• Music
  • Sirius Satellite vinyl rewind featuring a Santana block set

Very basic set-up and probably could have used dish detergent. The lather was fantastic (1st using it), but, the DD just slid over my face bald tires on ice. 1st pass WTG left me feeling good. 2nd pass XTG left me feeling like I could stop and be great. 3rd pass ATG has left me cheekstroking for the past 3 hours.
After my shave I sat down to play some guitar and found myself playing with my face more than the frets. Damn I don't want to give this razor back to my co-worker. Oh well, at least I got one great shave out of it.
