Tue
Rooney 1/1 Finest
Floris JF Soap
TM RL Strop
My new Robert Williams custom 6/8 French point (I'll post pics as soon as I can take some decent ones )
Alt Innsbruck a/s
Penhaligon's Quercus
Coral Skin Food
Last week I really "pushed it" and got too aggressive with my shaves. This led to bumps and ingrown hairs. I took off 3 days and went very gentle today. Just trying to get a comfy shave. The result was an effortless BBS shave. I barely felt the a/s burn. Of course, Robert's amazing razor may have had something to do with it.
Great Shave!!!

Nice razor. I have an Eicker & Sohne Heartring from Bill Ellis. Superb shaver.
Yous guys post such great pics I'm almost ashamed to post here....
Thursday:
Today was shave test day
AOS Fine Badger
TM RL strop
De Verguld Hand soap
Genco 6/8 SP off the Norton 8K
Bengall 11/16 SP off the Norton 8K
Revisor 5/8 off the Belgian Yellow
Pinaud Clubman
444 a/s balm mixed with the Pinaud
The Genco is there. I sometimes wonder why I bother with anything after the Norton 8K. This razor gave me a helluva shave.
The Bengall and Revisor need a little more work - close though.

More testing today.
Muehle ST brush
TM RL Strop
CF Lime Cream
Genco 6/8 SP off Chrome Ox.
Bengall 11/16 off Chrom Ox.
Revisor 5/8 off Yellow Belgian
Royall Lime w/ 444 balm
TOBS Victorian Lime 74
Genco and Revisor are golden. The Bengall needs a little more work. I had been losing hope about the ability of my Yellow to finish. Today, I did about 75 passes with just water on the Revisor. The edge is now so there! 'Bout time! Great shave and a wonderful limey day.
