Monady Morning Shaving Oldstyle
I picked up an almost mint Old Spice Mug & Brush set yesterday after shooting... Been looking for one of these for awhile since it reminds me of my Pops, and there it was sitting in the little antique store by the Trap Club....
After cleaning it up and re-conditioning the brush, I had to try it out this morning.....
Razor: 11/16 Otto Deutsch "Hans"
Soap: Williams
Brush : Old Spice "Genuine Boar Bristle"
Aftershave: Old Spice
Not bad, not bad at all

Shavemac pure badger brush
vintage scuttle (I find that TGQ's sample size shaving soap works perfectly in this one)
TGQ Cavendish Black
C.O. Bigelow Bay Rum a/s balm (not needed, but used anyway)
Black Bear brand strop
8/8 Hamburg Ring (first shave with this razor, and also first time shaving with a blade this size)
3 passes, BBS
a nice coat of baby oil to prevent any spotting.
This razor shaves like a champ. Also found out why they call it a Hamburg Ring", the sound while stropping (didn't pre-strop) is a wonderful ringing sound.
