Default Pre de Provence

I just tried it for the first time and it was wonderful. The scent, lather and protection were all great. It actually felt like it was saving me from my own sloppy technique a few times. Right up there with Tabac, but without the scent of German disco porn star ^1.

^1I cannot verify or disprove this claim.

I know what you mean I love the pre de provence shave soap in the can. It is one of my favorite soaps. It lathers great and is so very slick allso great when made into a uberlather!

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

Great great soap. SWMBO loves to use it for her legs as well.
I like it much better than the Provence Sante.

[quote]scent of German disco porn star[/QUOTE

Hahahaha! Nice. I've also heard the scent being described as "the smell of a drag queen". . . whatever that means. . .

Well, to my nose, Pre de Provence just smells "outdoorsy". I get a sage and herby thing going on for me. . . maybe it smells of the "fields of Provence, France" as the name implies.

At any rate, I agree this is a fantastic soap. It's become one of my favorites. . . Go get some. . .

I got a few HERE at the absolutely best price.

Type coupon 1207540658 to get 15% off your order. That's $8.50 per tin... unbeatable. That's less than a smaller puck of glycerine soap for a triple milled french soap. And the tin!

Get some Proraso while you are at it.

Wow...I think that's a little over half what I paid for mine, which is the cheapest I could find it for. Maybe I should give the aftershave balm a try...
