Default T&H West Indian Limes range

I managed to get my hands on T&H's amazing West Indian Limes EDT/cologne and liked it very much.

The shop I was in also had samples of the W.I.L. shaving cream and aftershave balm. I thought that they didn't smell as good as the EDT/cologne, but I was wondering could this be because the samples they had are out of date? What are people's experiences with the W.I.L. shaving cream and/or aftershave balm?

I have T&H Lime cream and balm and like them both quite a bit. I think that the edt/cologne is a slightly different experience in that it is a little cleaner smelling than the cream and balm. Of course, that is the edt's primary purpose...to smell good. The other products have to perform a different task in addition to smelling good. Using all three should pretty much get you the desired result. BTW, have you tried the Castle Forbes Lime products? I prefer them to the T&H.

You are quite right: the creams and balm all have a different purpose to the EDT. I must say though that having tried the 1805 range as well, the balm and cream all smelt very similar to the EDT, while the Lime cream and balm seemed to be very different from the EDT. I suppose there's only one way but to try them all!!

I have the shave cream and it's very nice, smell is okay but the real joy for me is in the shaving. Lathers fast and doesn't mind the heat of a scuttle. Some creams break down in the scuttle and lose there cushion, not this one. One of the few creams that i needn't re-apply while I shave the other half. It remains moist and slick for a long time.

Kind regards,

I have the T&H W.I.L cologne and I must say I really like it.
The only other Lime "flavoured" product I have tried is a lime shaving cream by Vulfix, which I also like.

Kind regards,
I just tried my first T&H shave cream (courtesy of a sample pack). I used the preshave oil, the unscented shave cream, and the unscented aftershave balm. This was definitely the most comfortable shave I've ever had. What's your technique for getting the best lather? I think mine may have been a bit on the thick/dry side.
