I have some and use it from time to time. It is an excellent product IMHO. I found it during my cartridge and edge gel days about 10 years ago while on detachment. It impressed me so well I spent quite some time trying to find it again. Now it is available at every WalMart.

I have and use it as well, and have had excellent results with it.
I believe it is actually a very simple mixture, probably an inexpensive carrier oil, and some eucalyptis.
I'm very tempted to try to make my own using sweet almond oil, and a little menthol...

I have that one and king of shaves. I think I like king better... hard to say.

Do you follow the nancyboys advice for using their oil, and apply your lather without a brush? They say the brush can negate their oil's effect - i assume it'd be the same for any

I can actually get a fairly decent shave with just the ss oil, but I use a little more than the 3 drops the directions suggest, and usually lather up

To be honest, I've not tried NancyBoy's products although many say they are good. The bottle of ShaveSecret I have makes no reference to lather whatsoever and is a shaving oil vice a "pre-shave" oil. It was designed to be used with water alone, not under lather or any other such. That said, some do.

Unless I am thinking of a different product, but I don't think so.

I also use a little more than 3 drops, but not always. I like the clove scent, and the razor just glides across the stuff once I rewet my face after the oil.

OIC, you are using it as a shave oil. When I use it under lather I wipe rather than brush as the NBs advice for their oil just made sense.
