Default Wilkinson Sword

Have an Irish friend that gave me a blue bowl of Wilkinson Sword soap today. I have never heard of it. When I opened it, the smell was very good, and it looks good enough to eat and make one hell of a lather. Can't wait till tomorrow!!

I have to assume you are fairly young. In the sixtys Wilkinson Sword advertising was all over the USA not for their soap but for their razor blades. Please let us know if they make good soap...

Fairly young 37, and new to straight razor shaving started in Mar08. Yes, the Wilkinson Sword soap was very nice, great smell and lathered nicely. My Irish friend is makinig a trip home soon, he says mens saving products are "cheap as chips" I will assume thats fish-in-chips. I'll have to get some more.
He also gave me a tube of "Palmolive" shaving cream, very nice as well, says made in Germany.

Hi they are available everywhere here in the UK. Not bad soap zesty and a bit drying but a very pleasant smell none the less.

Ya, the UK and Europe get all the good stuff. I live with a team from the UK here. They don't straight razor shave, but they have a the great soaps from their home.
