Question Mixing scents

Here's my problem...one of my favorite soaps has a fragrance that I really don't like. Not that it makes me gag or anything it's just not as enjoyable as the rest of my collection...but because of it's lathering qualities I'd really like to keep using it.

Question...I know it's fairly common to add a dash of cream to a soap lather but does anyone mix more than one type of soap when they shave?

I'm thinking I could make my lather and then rinse the brush and pick up some more soap from one of my other mugs (I'm thinking Trumper's Sandalwood or a similar heavy scented soap) and add that to the mix creating a different smell and hopefully better shaving experience.

Besides the obvious fact that I'm nuts...any comments?

Well besides the fact your nuts, if you don't like the scent how can it be your favorite soap. Scent is one of the main things that make a soap a favorite. If your just after a great performing soap there are many soaps out there to fill the bill so why not just choose another?

It is suspected the razor is haunted.

You could do that I'm sure, not sure how it would work out trying to cover up the scent.

I mix soap and cream with glycerin added but I usually use an unscented cream with a scented soap or an unscented soap with a scented cream.

I think the best lather I get and usually my standard is using unscented kiss my face shaving cream with mama bear's soaps and a little glycerin added. Easily outperforms CF and proraso imo, though I have those also and use them as well.
