Bad Shave Day?
Well the girls say that they have bad hair days. Why can we not have Bad Shave Days? I have been improving my shaves a lot recently. Blood loss had, I thought, become an occasional problem. Then this morning, I was in far too much of a rush. I had a load to do before a college interview. Let us say it was a bloodbath .
I took a snap when I returned from my successful interview & the bleeding had stopped. Please feel free to take the mick all you like
On the other hand you can share your disasters too...

Bummer. I'm lucky not to have had a shave like that (yet?).
Did you use a styptic pencil or alum block on those cuts?

Damn! Why did I not think of that? I did have quite bad shakes first thing. I thought that they had finished. The picture gives the lie to that

Hey Spike!
That does not look that bad at all. I mean, your head is still there
I'm just a beginner, but after my, well let's say 5th shave, I felt 10 feet tall and bulletproof. That resulted in a partially loss of my little beard at the chin, and a blood loss from about 3 litres
Bad shaves happen, and everyday you learn something new.

Spike:
I have to ask... what did you do to get such a thing? Sorry to tell you but... a badger brush is made out of hair taken from the badger and NOT the badger itself! No need to thank me...

Spike
Damm They probably felt sorrow for you at the college and didn't want to see what you would have done to yourself if you hadn't got it.
You know I was trying not to smart mouth because any time I did in the past I managed to hack up my face to beat the band. Oh well no shaves for a while...

I came here to post a snarky comment, but I see it has been well taken care of!

Karma is a B!tch
I am now recanting my lawnmower statement. Because as of this morning I have had the worst shave of my life, thanks to A) Karma and B) The lovely cat that the woman whom I love thought was soooooo cute six months ago, assaulted my face in the middle of the night. I will not post any pictures for the sake of those younger viewers that might look over your collective shoulders.
And thanks to those two huge factors of the morning I was forced to once again pick up my mach 3 and drag that bad boy over my face. So now Im writing this cursing the razor burn that I am now dealing with and the huge gouges that Mr.Boots (I renamed him the devil this morning at 4am) left in my cheek.
So I feel for you now spike and I to can't wait untill I can shave with a straight again.

You will all be pleased to know that I had my first shave since the bloodbath today. No nicks, only a drip of blood from the mole & BBS, except a couple of patches round the scars

I sliced my top lip open this week trying to go in too much hurry. It bled for about an hour. Styptic pencil, tissue, vaseline, direct pressure.
