I've finally got BBS with a straight!

I've always managed it over cheeks and most of neck but there's always been a section on either side of the Adam's Apple that grows toward the ears and I've never managed to get an angle on it for ATG to get it clean.

This morning I managed it with the Feather AC. I had to fold the scales right back to get it short enough as my jawbone has always stopped me getting at the hollow and my wrists just don't go in the right direction! Had the blade upside down going from ear to Adam's Apple. A bit scary but I got there with no nicks!

No need to finish that bit with my DE Slant any more!

Try it tomorrow with a proper straight!

It's a great thing ain't it? I find a lot of my best shaves are more a product of careful stropping than the other details. Those all seem to fall into place about the same way these days, but one half focused stropping later and my shave isn't as good as it should be.
