razor stand on the cheap.
I've been eyeballing these toothbrush holders for quite some time, but wasn't certain whether a razor would fit in the openings. This was the last set (I didn't buy the soap dish), so I snatched them up, and viola, it worked. The cup I think will be a good brush warmer. They are a heavy glass or porcelain, so the cup should hold heat well.A big plus is that they match my Omega brush I picked up not too long back. Total cost 15.00 at Wal-Mart.

How large are the razors and do you have a link to the brush stand online? I've got some big razors, but a stand like that would be awesome.

The holes in the stand are roughly 3/4 inch across. The stand is roughly 4 3/4 tall. The razors are 6" long and roughly 3/8 wide, the tang end has to go up , or they won't fit...at least with my razors.
Here's the complete set at Wal-Mart.com Although by buying online you have to buy the soap dish as well, which I guess would be OK , to finish out a guys shaving den....perfect for Colleen's bath soap.

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

Well, I bought one today at Walmart and I'll have to return it.
Three of my razors don't fit, they're too long

Wow, sorry to hear that, maybe someone on here will take it off your hands? You might pm Holii4pirating, he seemed interested in buying the set.
How long are your razors? Have they been rescaled? Just curious, most of mine would've fit had the holes been big enough to accomodate the thickness of the razor.

I didn't buy the set, just the stand, I paid $6.96 for it at Walmart, any one interested, let me know.
The razors that don't fit are the Double Arrows, and a Dovo Ebony 5/8", neither one has been rescaled. The ones that do fit are the Wapis and the Dovo Shavette

Duh, just thought, the base screws on with a phillips head screw (hidden under the label on the bottom). You might get a longer screw and a nice spacer of some kind and make it work. I just tried the rest of my razors, all but 4 fit. 4 out of 13, isn't too bad.

It would be nice to have a set where the "glass" is big enough to lather in it.

That's true,, but I usually warm my brush in water( as in a scuttle), and mix in a seperate bowl, if doing uberlather. If not I just use a scuttle for simplicity.

Unfortunately, I don't think most of my razors. They tend to be on the bigger side.
