Default The mailman came today, and it was good

A Otto Busch Worldmaster! I'm so happy I could sng the Happy Happy Joy Joy song!
My armhairs came off with a little efford, it's not that I would say shaveready but it's close, so it does need to get honed (honing service here in holland annybody?)
It feels great in my hand, well balanced and such.
Onely "problem" is that it opens to much, it opens about 1/4 of the way just by holding it upside down. What can I do about that?

I did find some other Otto's online but this is by far the best I've seen IMHO
And the cheapest, paid 35$ (22€) for it incl shipping

Btw, the little spots on the blade are dirt, not dimples, it's brand new for as far as I know

Default Well done!

Pretty! Nice three pin marbled scales. If you have done any pinning, a few LIGHT taps might help snug up the pivot. Be careful though! If you haven't done any pinning you might get the stuff and practice first, or have it looked at by a restore-miester.

Good luck!

It's NOS, got it from our own dutch type of ebay called marktplaats.nl
Snatched it before someone could overbid my by mailing the guy

And the onely pinning I've ever done is pinning people to the floor/wall. So I might not do that myself

edit: I just got quirios since it did actually feel quite sharp as it came. So I gave it 20 passes on the strop and tried it on my leg, took the hairs clean off! So it might be sharp enough annyway. Well, I'll just have to find that out tomorrow
