Thank you guys! This was my wife's wedding gift, it represents about a year of her present wages, so it is far more special to me than any old razor hand forged by Pierre Thiers. Hehe.

Wish I could take credit for the half a clam shell but it was Beloved Wife's doing. It is the right size and retains heat well enough to give you warm lather for the second and third pass. Just let it sit in one of your wife's mixing bowls full of hot water. Of course, don't tell your wife, or you'll get slapped with a comal (a metal plate for baking tortillas)!

Wood? Balsa? Come on guys, blood was spilt for the horn scales! The roots of the almond tree you see in the first picture lead up to some juicy burls, though.
