My TM came today !
The mailman brought a wonderful suprise today - my new Tony Miller strop .
I got the 2 1/2" Latigo/Linen with D rings. This thing is just gorgeous. I have several vintage strops, and none of them are even close to comparing to the quality and workmanship of this little piece of plunder. And talk about fast shipping - I placed the order Wednesday, and it was here today !
Tony, my hat is off to you, sir . Thanks !!!
Dave

Tony is a recognized artisan in the straight shaving world. His strops are difficult if not impossible to beat!

Wednesday? Nooooooo! I ordered mine (the apprentice) on Thursday, I must have missed one of his standard shipment dates. Hopefully it'll be here on Monday since my face is getting rather itchy and fuzzy!

I received my 3 inch TM strop via SRD yesterday and I have to agree. The craftmanship is just amazing and it keeps getting better. In an age where most things are designed to be thrown away its just a pleasure to hold one of his strops in your hand. I promptly went to work putting a 100 passes on my daily shaver and shaved. Its great. I could feel the strop breaking in after about 10 passes. Started out with no draw and by the time I was at 50 passes the strop was already broken in and giving me a good solid draw. What an amazing piece of work, truely with out comparison.

A package received from Tony does tend to make a grown man turn into an excited 5 year old while opening the package and admiring the strop!
Way to go Tony - and congrats to you all on your new purchases.

Thanks Guys. I may not always have what you want ready, but hopefully you find it worth the wait.

How do you edit posts in this forum? I can't seem to find a button.
Anyhoo, I finally got the TM strop today! It took a bit of effort to get the motion down, I think my coordination is horrible! I sliced the strop 1/4th of the way through the handle ;_; as well as nicked it 10 times. FYI Loctite makes a damn fine super glue!

Tony,
I bought a three inch wide Horsehide Strop with linen and D-rings a year ago. I have thanked you before (in an e-mail.)
But here's a public "Thank You." You do good work!
Regards,
Jeeter
