Default Using a pasted strop

How many laps do I do on a .5 Micron ChromOx pasted strop?

Less is more. I would start with about 10 laps, then test shave. If the edge still needs more work, another 10 or so and test. Rinse and repeat.

I'd say 5 laps and 10 max. Mind you, I don't have the lightest of touches.

Less is more it's very true.

I believe the more you hone on the chromium oxide, the less life you will get out of the blade before you need to revisit the hones .
