Get your biz name on my flyer
Y'all, I'll be introducing straight razors, soaps and brushes at my table at the next Saxet Gun & Knife show in Austin...so I'm preparing a little handout for shave newbies with informational sites like this one, and businesses. If you want your business listed, reply to this thread with the name of your business, the url, and if you want to offer any kind of discount, give a code.
I'll be printing this up into a handy quarter-page grab-and-go info tidbit and giving it out for free.

Sure, Churly, no problem! I've got an order or two in with you right now (Tam Thompson, Blanco, Texas), so samples are welcome...and if you can provide boxes for each brush, that's great.
Deadline is Friday morning, February 15th.

Is Feb. 15th the deadline for your printed material, or the date by which you must receive all of your goods ??
....and Yes, each brush comes with it's own box.
Say listen......I sent your other box out day before yesterday, but have been unable to contact you via email. I keep getting a failure notice. So I'm glad to know who you are now. Your other box won't ship until Tuesday or so of next week.
Oh....and I apologize, WHERE are my manners. My name is Colleen ......I'm right pleased to meet ya!

Do you have room for me too? What I have right now is restoration service and honing. My business is RupRazor.com and the web address is www.ruprazor.com.
Thanks,
Ken

Well, it turned out to be a moot point. Nobody was buying straight razors. Lots of interest, lots of "Louie-lookies" (who just HAD to get the razor open and thumb the blade as I waited nervously with a first-aid kit on my belt)...but no buyers.
Decent sales, just not from any razors.
I hate tire-kickers.

Well, still.. someone might have started thinking about "going straight"! I feel that most of the time the first reaction I get is "No way, I could never do that!" People need to let it sink in.

What you need is a demo. Someone that is willing to let themselves BE shaved.
I shaved a friend of mine the other day because he doesn't have access to his normal M3 since he's moving.
He loved it. He wants me to do it again and the time after that he'll try. I let him try a first pass......bloody murder that was. Pushed so hard I'm surprised he didn't rip the skin straight off his neck. After I saw that I told him I'd do it.
He sure was happy with the result though.
