We are finishing up a large batch of paddles today ands are starting something new for pastes.

For well over a year now we have offered pre-pasting of our paddles with diamond pastes but have avoided carrying additional supplies of pastes since the initial pasting lasts so long.

Starting with this latest release of paddles we are changing our offerings a bit. Instead of pre-pasting we will offer small, two application containers of Amplex Diamond Compounds in 3.0, 1.0, 0.5 and 0.25 micron sizes for about the same price as the original pasting. This will give you enough to do the initial application as well as at least one additional pasting down the road a bit when refreshing is needed. This gives you the customer a less expensive alternative to the usual Amplex 5gr. syringes at $17 to $19 and for us will cut down the backlog and drying time needed when we apply the pastes for you.

Initially the pastes will only be available with a paddle purchase but once the initial "rush" on newly released paddles is over the small containers will be a regular catalog item.

Paddles, pastes and our usualy hanging strop selection will be back again tomorrow sometime. Our full listings are up today with ordering disabled so we can have today to get ahead on paddles and package our new pastes.

At this time chromium oxide will not be ready for container purchase.

This is great news Tony. Just a word to the newbies. It will take you a couple of years (at least) before you need to re-paste.

I dont know about that, i had a few brand new razors and found that before i had hones this was a great way to start...however a little overexuberance and I had an edge go on my paddle...major bummer, but yes it will take a while to use up all the paste.
