Default Dovo "Diamond Steel" NOS 7/8"

I just thought I would tempt you with a couple more additions to the store. When Dovo sent me the package with the run of my "Best Class" 7/8" razors earlier this month, they surprised me by including a small number of the original No. 55 "Diamond Steel" razors as well, all with the original blade etch done in the early 70's. There are actually two variations of this razor for sale.

One is the classic No. 55 with the French Point. The other has a different blade profile, that for a lack of better terminology I am calling a Spike Point. This blade profile does not appear in any catalog of the period. In addition, the angle of the grind on one example (past vertical) suggests that these blanks may have been pulled from the line at time of initial production. As a result, this lot will sell at a discount from the others. Nonetheless, both Lynn and I will attest that they are phenomenal shavers.

A couple of each have been pre-honed by Lynn, should you like that option. These special razors can be found here
