I just found this forum while googling shaving products. I'm a potter in a solo studio in rural Virginia. After being approached to make scuttles by a member of another forum and getting lots of input from him and others, I've been making a very popular wheel-thrown stoneware scuttle. I have one of Julie's scuttles, the craftsmanship is second to none, it has plenty of room for hot water and you can make tons of lather with soap, cream or both combined.
It gives me warm lather throughout the entire shaving routine.

Forgot to mention that Julie is a great person to deal with and very accommodating to customizing your scuttle.
