Thank you all for your support and well wishes. It is too early in the process to know where this is headed but for know I am just slowing things down a bit so I am available for my wife and her family instead of laboring away in the shop.
The strop business is just a sideline after a full day so it is the one area I can more easily steal time from. I will have some stuff up again in a day or so thanks to my helper Kim but just need to limit what I am doing for a little while so do not want to commit to any particular products.
It is very touching how this group feels like a family. Where else could a business owner go and share his personal trials and have such caring responses. In most places people tend to keep their struggles to themselves but here I feel I can share and because everyone is always so supportive it made me offer the explanation I did instead of just saying I'll be closed or cutting back a while. While we may keep our lives separate from the world, we do tend to share with our friends.
Thanks again,
Tony
