Hey, I'm honored that it's there, man.
We Belgians are not that uptight about receiving credit.
And I learned most I now about honing from you and Josh, in the first place. So, thank YOU.

Heh. Up until clicking on the first video a minute ago, I thought heavyduty was a guy in his fifties or sixties!
Well... the world's a twisted place.

Wow I watched them all. Very good indeed, especially having people there to ask questions.
I will have to test that out on the weekend, coz I got a couple of eBay specials just dying to go on the hone and become great shavers.
Cheers Dave.

Well guys, I have to say that I am a little surprised to hear this. With all the promoting that I did of the Southern California Straight Razor Get Together picture thread ( 1st Southern California Straight Razor Get Together Pictures – 1) I figured that almost everyone would know what I looked like by now, so the videos would not have come as a shock. It seems like I did not do as good a job of getting the words and pictures out as I thought Before the "Great Forum Crash of '08" I posted pictures of myself in the "What do you look like" thread as well. I guess that it just goes to show that you can't always judge a cover by it's book....or something like that

No offense intended, David. I tend to think most of the guys on here are "older" simply because I don't generally consider straights as a young man's thing (I know, I know - we have plenty of younger guys here, but you know what I mean).
I myself think and behave "older"than my years - Hey you kids! Get off my lawn! People asked me if turning 40 bothered me. My answer was no, I feel like I should have been 40 for a long time.

Hey, it's that painting from Goodfellas!
I'm not really one to click on every last thread around here, which is probably why I didn't catch your promotion thread and the picture thread, heavyduty. I have my normal haunts (a few of the forums and sub-forums) which I'll check regularly, but not much more.
Cool videos, by the way.

"one dog goes this way; one dog goes that way and this guy's sayin' what'da want from me?"
"Looks like someone we know"
Good catch. I've been curious as to how many guys would know where its from.

Ummm, help? I was looking forward to watching these so much, but when I hit play each video freezes at 2 seconds. Noone else has mentioned this, so is it my browser? I tried both in the thread and on the actual youtube site...
EDIT: ok NO youtube videos will work for me... any ideas?

Could be a problem with Java. You could try installing the latest version from Sun: Download Free Java Software - Sun Microsystems
If that doesn't help, you could try changing your browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox. That often does the trick.
Good luck,
Bart.

I had that problem a while ago, check to make sure you're at the latest version of your browser and reinstall flash. That did the trick for me.

I saw the video and thought it was awesome. Finally got the courage to pull out the norton and give it a whirl for the first time. Thanks for taking the time out to put together such a valuable tool.
