NOS Penhaligons Lp#9 ???

Ok so here is the story

Last week I was in Penhaligons Madison ave. As I always do I asked if they had any Lp No. 9. The lady tells me that they found a box labeled LP 9 in the ware house but she is not sure if it was the EDT or what . I asked her if she can call me once they find out what it is . She said ok . I then told her I would buy as much as they had if it was the EDT . Friday night I get a call from Penhaligons telling me they have 3 bottles of EDT in the box and nothing else . So I respond with ok hold them for me and I will come pick them all up tomorrow .

I go in to pick them up and they could not scan the EDT the code was no longer in their computer so they rang it up under a different product that was at the same price I paid ,went home and took pictures to make every one Jealous

I still have not decided if I will keep all 3 of them or if I will put 2 of them up for sale .

The store does not have any more so don't bother calling guys .

all they have left is some bath oil but the scent is not the same it is much stronger when you first put it on and it does not last personally for the money it costs $70 for 100 ml I do not find it worth it . the scent is not the same only the bottle and the name is.

I paid $70 each for the 50 ml EDT's

Thats the story .

Hey Nick, forgive my ignorance, I'm not familiar with this stuff. I assume putting it on results in a stampede of women crashing through your door, gives you the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Atlas and the cohones of a bull?

just about .

every time I put this stuff on I always get a compliment or two from random people .

I can not remember one time that I have put it on and I di not get a compliment .

also my wife loves the stuff it drives her crazy

edit : I just realized my post count I will not be making any more posts just editing the ones I have made already

Very nice. Love that stuff. Had a sample of it once. I'm quite jealous. If I were to get another cologne I'd want that one.

But since it's not availablt anymore....

If you decide to sell it, put me down for the second one. Never tried it but lately I find myself enjoying quite a few scents that I'd never thought I'd like.

I had one on Ebay and got reported for using the term love potion in the sale for copyright infringement so the auction was deleted by ebay I contacted the person who reported me and the auction will be live again tonight at 5PM PDT .

It only had like one more day to go as well. What do they think the LP stands for.

Now there was a guy selling Potions and Magic spells GALORE...but he doesnt get repremanded?

the person who reported me has the "love potion" Trademarked for fragrances so nobody else in the states can use it . that is actually why in the states LP No 9 is not called love potion in England penhaligons has the trademark here in the states this lady has it for 22 years now

I actually had a nice conversation with the lady today and she was very nice and is sending me samples of all her stuff so i can review them .

. . . I recently e-mailed their customer service group (ByrequestUSA@Penhaligons.com ) in an effort to have them custom blend a Rose scented shave cream. I also alerted them to this forum. I received a response that they are creating an entire new line of men's shaving products to be released in 2009 . . . and that a Rose scent was possible. I encourage everyone to write your Congressman at Penhaligons (either for LP #9 or the scent of your preference!).
