The new tattoo
As some of you know, I recently got a new/first tattoo - many people have been asking about it so here it is. It means Illumination of bright light - (great light illumination, literally). It obviously has special personal significance to me

Have you seen the black light inks?
This is mine almost healed
and freshly done...
Now you can't see it at all without a black light.

nice, I don't know much about the ink, but I know early blacklight inks were messy, the more modern ones are pretty good.

This is not a fly by night thing.. I have spent twelve years researching and setting myself up for this. I do appreciate your concern though.

Congrats on finally pulling the trigger. Looks like you got a nice job. People ask me how many I have and I have no idea so I tell them, "Just one but it isn't finished yet". Here is a photo of me applying a tattoo.

Just been thinking recently of adding to my tattoos - not got much but what I have got spreads around a bit (quite a bit out of shot!) and sometimes makes some people decide to leave the sauna when I go in. At least I think it's the tattoo!
They are now 13 years old or so. Time for an update. The snake (a recurring theme through my life) was done by a slightly hungover guy called 'Pert' from Dublin at the first ever Scottish Tattoo convention all those years ago. I have always been happy with all of them - never a moment of regret. It is a marker of times and a piece of personal art that you can enjoy. Been thinking about filling in some background with mountains - a theme of the last decade for me. A razor just might empty the sauna!!
