Default Welcome to the restoration forum. Essentials & FAQ

Welcome to the restoration forum.
This place is dedicated to everything related to restoring straight razors.
It is managed and maintained by JoshEarl and me (Bruno). If you have any remarks about this place, feel free to PM either one or both of us.

This thread is also meant to be an index of the information that should be easily acessible to all restorers.

If you want to add info to the index in this thread, start a new discussion so that anyone can have their say.
Start the thread title with 'sticky proposal' or something similar. If we haven't noticed it in time, the thread starter should send on of us a PM so that I can add it to this list.

We might clean up the conversation afterwards if that is needed, so please don't take offense if we delete duplicate posts / jokes or off topic discussion. The intention of starting threads that will be included in this list is to provide information as clear and useful as possible.

That way we'll have a useful and clean starting point where all useful info can be indexed, while still allowing everyone to have their say in the individual topics.

An appointment is an engagement to see someone, while a morningstar is a large lump of metal used for viciously crushing skulls. It is important not to confuse the two.

It's not over until the fat lady runs the unit tests.
