Default Blade ground on one side

I found a razor in the local flea market and bought it because it was heavy and made in Sheffield. When I got it home and had a better look at it I realised it was only hollow ground on the "front" side, the back side is completely flat much like (I understand) a Japanese razor. It's not even all that hollow ground on the one side - maybe half hollow or even quarter hollow. I've never heard of a razor ground like this and I'm not at all sure how to hone it. Any advice would be welcome. It's a square point marked on the tang "John & Wm Wragg Sheffield Eng". Sorry no pics as my camera broke a while ago and I haven't had a chance to replace it yet.

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

+1 to what Doc says ... the reason it's only ground on one side is that, with half a bevel, it is effectively twice as sharp as a normal razor. You just hone the one side (ground side down) but I wouldn't shave with it. If you try, let us know what happened.
