Default newish Dovo with nicks

Hey guys,
I put a new Dovo in my rotation about 2 years ago. It's a 5/8 and quite delicate. I've honed it lightly 8 months ago. It shaves fine but... hold it up to a light and there are 3 or 4 nicks in it. They are almost imperceptable. I strop it on the same Miller original that I use for all my razors. My other razors are all 90 to 100 years old are in great shape.

Any thoughts where I should look to find what's causing this?

Yes. The Dovo is a full hollow. The others range from half to full.

The reason I asked is that in "General" the full and singing hollows require a more delicate touch on the stones and the strops and even when shaving..... The wedges down to half hollows are just *tuffer* blades and the same motions that you use with them, can create mircochipping on on the fine edge of the full hollows.....

I guess I do go a little long between shaves sometimes. When the Dovo comes up, she's asked to do the same job as the big boys. I'll pay closer attention or just retire her.

It's a Black Star with pakawood scales. Economy model I know. I just feel like the "singing" blade is a little too delicate for my face. It's not really comfortable to me. My other razors are "heavier" which translates to a "sure" shave.
