Default Re-grnd Toe to remove chip

I was wondering before I left for Europe how to remove the chip and had thought to just have it done on a hone and make this one more like a 4/8, then while in Europe I thought I could just re-grind the toe to remove the chip which I opted to do. I'm well pleased with the results

Didn't take very long, maybe 30 minutes total to re-grind it on dremel with a green silicon carbide grinding stone then some hand-sanding and final polish on the buffer with blue rogue followed by maas.

I only ground down the toe a little, the first pic is of it with the original chip in the toe prior to re-grinding the toe. I think I was lucky a little with the way the chip was shaped and able to use it to my advantage to not have to remove too much metal.

This is Saturday from a 7-day set that I restored, so previous work was done on these to get them polished and all, full set is here: Erik Antonberg 7-Day set Resto
