I would reset my bevel by hitting it up with a norton 220 , then norton 1000 , then norton 4000 , and finally with any finishing hone I might have. I have several, probably with the sueihiro 20k, then the Shapton 30k! , finally, my jnat polishing hone . After all that, hit it up on the canvas...
