I like a good astringent aftershave, and I like a nice scent, but I am not a heavy cologne guy. I have been alternating between just witch-hazel and Clubman Pinaud. I found that I was never happy- either I missed the scent when I used the witch-hazel, or I thought the scent was too strong when I used the Clubman. I finally hit on a solution that works great for me. After some experimenting I settled on a mix of 1 part each of vodka (for the alcohol), witch-hazel, and Pinaud. I mixed it into a mini liquor bottle that I keep in my medicine cabinet.
