This is from the Bresduck period of the company. the front of the shank reads "Dubl Duck Special No.1" and has the two ducks. The back of the shank reads "Bresduck Dubl Duck Solingen-Germany" and also has the trademark two ducks. Originally the top of the spine, shank and tail were "blued"
